Vancouver, Washington—October 10th, 2016—The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) announced today that it will be launching the organization’s first swimming program for children, youth, adults and military veterans with visual impairments. This program spans the first three Sunday nights in November. The first week will be focused on coaching children with visual impairments on the basic fundamentals of swimming, and then the next two Sundays will give all other ages the opportunity to participate. These events are scheduled for Sundays, November 6th, November 13th, and November 20th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Washington State School for the Blind (2214 E 13th St., Vancouver, WA 98661).
