Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) provides life-changing opportunities, through sports and physical activity, to more than 1,200 blind and visually impaired individuals of all ages across the northwest through our five specialized programs.
Sports Outreach Program – This program provides opportunities for students and adults who are blind and visually impaired to become introduced to sport for the first time. Click here to read more.
Camp Abilities – This program provides youth who are blind or visually impaired ages 8-15 the opportunity to participate in a week-long developmental sports camp. Click here to read more.
Sports Teams Program – This program provides blind and visually impaired individuals of all ages the opportunity to participate in sports and physical activity on an on-going basis through one of our regional sports teams. Click here to read more.
Sports Adaptation Program – Through this program, we provide sports adaptations to blind and visually impaired students, adults, family members, teachers, and community organizations about how to adapt sports for individuals who are blind and visually impaired. Click here to read more.
Increasing Visibility (Public Awareness Program) – The Association’s public awareness program provides community members the opportunity to learn more about the abilities of people who are blind and visually impaired. Click here to read more.
