Vancouver, Washington—September 25th, 2015—The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) announced today that the 2015 Vision for Opportunities Fundraising Breakfast, presented by Riverview Community Bank, on September 22nd raised more than $20,000 to support the organization’s life-changing programs for children, youth, adults and veterans who are blind and visually impaired.
“On behalf of our board, volunteers, and staff, I would like to thank everyone who generously supported this event and our programs for individuals with visual impairments. Funds will help individuals of all ages and abilities who are blind or visually impaired gain the confidence and self-esteem they need to be successful.” said Founder/Executive Director, Billy Henry.
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes is currently raising funds to drastically expand the organization’s life-changing programs to serve more individuals with visual impairments.
