In 2017, a gentle and kind-hearted 10-year-old Kady attended Camp Spark. Kady tried track and field for the very first time, surrounded by coaches and campers who believed in her potential. Kady returned to camp every summer, growing stronger—not just in her athletic ability, but in her self-confidence. With every lap she ran, Kady wasn’t just gaining speed—she was building the courage to chase her dreams.
She’ll be training to qualify and represent the U.S.A. at Junior Worlds next summer, further solidifying her place on the global stage. In the fall of 2025, Kady will embark on an exciting new chapter at Whitworth University, where she’ll pursue a degree in Sports Management and Business while continuing to excel on their track team.
Kady’s story is just one example of the life-changing impact of NWABA’s programs. Thanks to supporters like you, children, youth, adults, and veterans who are blind or visually impaired are discovering their potential, finding their confidence, and pursuing their dreams.
