Bequests & Legacy Gifts
A bequest is one of the easiest ways to make a planned gift by simply including NWABA in your will or living trust. You can designate a cash gift, percentage of your remaining estate, or valuable property and assets to support NWABA’s transformational programs for individuals who are visually impaired.
Below is language that can be used to assist with your planning:
Outright Gift:
“I give, devise, and bequeath (describe desired gift) to Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, a nonprofit corporation of the State of Washington, headquartered in Vancouver, WA, to be used to support (the organization’s general programs and services or insert specific project or program).
Residue Gift:
I give, devise, and bequeath (describe desired gift) to Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, a nonprofit corporation of the State of Washington, headquartered in Vancouver, WA, all or (insert percentage) of the rest, residue or remainder of my estate, to be used to support (the organization’s general programs and services or insert specific project or program).
