Creating Opportunities Dinner & Auction raises more than $10,000 to support Northwest Association for Blind Athletes

 

Boise, Idaho—September 25th, 2015—The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) announced today that the 2015 Creating Opportunities Idaho Dinner & Auction on September 11th raised more than $10,000 to support the organization’s life-changing programs for children, youth, adults and veterans who are blind and visually impaired.

“On behalf of our board, volunteers, and staff, I would like to thank everyone who generously supported this event. Funding will allow us to continue to improve the quality of life for people with visual impairments throughout Idaho.” said Founder/Executive Director, Billy Henry.

The event was supported by the following sponsors: The Gibney Family Foundation; Pro Service ISP Café; The Convenience Group; Allen Gamel, Edward Jones and the J.R. Simplot Foundation.
