Northwest Association for Blind Athletes announced today that Jeff Gray has been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors. Jeff is currently Senior Director, Global Sales, and Customer Success Recruiting at Service Now.
“Being someone who is blind, and likewise grew up playing sports, I am humbled and honored to be a part of such an outstanding organization. Whether it was with sports, school, employment, or any place else, I’ve dealt with all sorts of hurdles and challenges many visually impaired and blind people face in life. Through determination, hard work, and an incredible support system, I’ve been able to achieve a full, enriched life both professionally and personally. I am excited to use what I’ve learned from my experiences to now give back. My life philosophy is somewhat simple—work hard, take accountability, and help others when you can. This opportunity with NWABA enables me to cast a wide net in helping others while demonstrating that being blind does not hold you back in life. Sports have such an impact on ones’ development, teaching life lessons such as teamwork, goal-setting, and how to deal with adversity. I truly believe in NWABA’s mission and values, and I am eager to be a part of their growth and success.” Said Jeff.
Jeff will join other community leaders throughout the region in helping Northwest Association for Blind Athletes achieve its mission of providing life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
