Northwest Association for Blind Athletes and Century Link Pioneers to host Beeping Easter Egg Hunt in Vancouver, Washington

 

 

Vancouver, Washington—March 23rd, 2015—The Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) announced today that it will be hosting a Beeping Easter Egg Hunt for children and youth who are blind or visually impaired on March 28th, 2015. The event will run from 10:00-12:00 at the Washington State School for the Blind (2214 E. 13TH Street, Vancouver, WA 98661).

“We are very excited to host this event for children with visual impairments. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, participants will have the opportunity to participate in sports and learn more about our mission and programs.” said Founder/Executive Director Billy Henry.

In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, participants will receive hands on instruction in beep baseball and tandem cycling.

Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides programming to over 1,000 individuals of all ages and ability levels with visual impairments. The mission of NWABA is to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired. The Association was formed by a group of visually impaired students in 2007 to ensure that people who are blind were participating in sports and physical activity.
