Vancouver, Washington—July 2nd, 2018—Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) announced today that it will be hosting a water sports experience. The program will be held on July 8th at Fern Ridge Reservoir (26275 Clear Lake Rd. Junction City, OR 97448-9599). Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen fundamentals and skills for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. The program will be held from 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM. Transportation to and from the lake will be provided from the Eugene office of Oregon Commission for the Blind upon request.

Northwest Association for Blind Athletes plans to host ongoing water sports experiences throughout the summer months. Each program will offer individuals who are blind or visually impaired the opportunity to experience kayaking and paddle boarding.
