Estate Gift Bequest Language

Specific Bequest Language

I give the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Tax ID: 26-0244283, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington State, all the rest, residue, or remainder of my estate, both real and personal, for its general purposes.

Residual Bequest Language

I give the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Tax ID: 26-0244283, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington State, all the rest, residue, or remainder of my estate, both real and personal, for its general purposes.

Contingent Bequest Language

If any of the above-named beneficiaries disclaims or predecease me, I bequeath his or her share to the Northwest Association for Blind Athletes, Tax ID: 26-0244283, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington State to be used for its general purposes.

If you have already prepared your will and estate planning, your attorney can include a bequest to Northwest Association for Blind Athletes by adding a codicil including the bequest language.

Bequeathing Your IRA, Stocks or Other Retirement Accounts

Naming NWABA as a beneficiary of your IRA or other qualified retirement account, including stock accounts, is easy to do. Simply update the “Beneficiary Form”, on your retirement plan’s website and provide the contact information and Tax ID/EIN number above.

How to make an IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution gift:

Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your (Required Minimum Distribution) RMD to NWABA and provide the contact information and Tax ID/EIN number above. Please keep in mind that a QCD must be initiated by your retirement fund directly and mailed directly to NWABA. If the funds pass through you, in any way, the tax benefits outlined above do not apply. Be sure to contact Kim Hash, Director of Philanthropy at 360.984.5506, or [email protected], before beginning the donation process, so that our broker can be alerted to the incoming gift.
